Re: Official 2024 Free Agency Discussion
Time to get younger. Our BEST players are old.
There is no coincidence that most of the playoff participants are younger than the Saints. Packers, Cowboys, BUCS, Detroit, Eagles, Niners, Ravens. It’s a young man’s game … Unless you enjoy missing post season. |

If it wasn't for the Sean Payton trade we wouldn't have had any ammo to work with on draft day last year. We trade away too many midround picks that don't we don't get to develop and it costs us big money in free agency because we have so many holes to fill because of poor drafting. Either that or we flat out take the wrong player on the big board when there are better players available that get picked later and play better than our draft picks. |

Re: Official 2024 Free Agency Discussion
Was looking at Niners OL Joe Feliciano PFF grades.
His pressures to sack ratio was 15/2. Not to mention he got a lot of work due to injuries across that entire Niners line. 2 year @ 7M deal would be ideal. Wouldn’t break the bank & is an upgrade over James Hurst. By the way our LOWEST rated (per PFF) olineman in 2023 was Cesar Ruiz at 51.2. That’s 63/79 of guards in the league. McKoy was ranked best @ 79.4 Free agency could be where they add new players on that Oline. |

A Winning Football Team, on both sides of the ball.... ya know, like the one when the Saints won the SuperBowl.

Re: Official 2024 Free Agency Discussion
Saints should “re work” Can’t Call Mike’s deal & get him outta here.
Hasn’t been healthy (play a full season of football) in almost 4 years now. AT Perry is young & shows promise. Give him more reps. MT is an OLD player who can’t help anymore. |

"Can't Help Mike" has run its course indeed. It's a shame after such a promising start. He definitely followed the mold of big contracts fall off performance, injury not withstanding.
