Re: Official 2024 Free Agency Discussion
Saints need to target a DE in FA. Cam(2 sacks in 17 games) will be 35 years of age at the start of camp & is nothing more than a rotational piece at this point. Granderson is good but needs help. Foskey played in 10 (healthy scratch in a lot of games) before getting injured.
Jets DE Bryce Huff is a UFA. NO needs serious help with the pass rush in 2024. It's a must. Get younger & faster. I'd double down with Jared Verse @ pick #14. |

Re: Official 2024 Free Agency Discussion
I could live with moving on from Baun.
I think it is really important to keep Yiadom. If we move on from Yiadom because we 'don't have a spot for him' it just shows that we are trapped in the contracts to the aging Lattimore, Maye, and Mathieu. I want a young secondary. |

The problem with Post-June-1 cuts is that the savings does not hit the salary cap until June 1 and you have to be under the cap way before that. Hopefully we can have enough cap space to make post-June-1 cuts.

Re: Official 2024 Free Agency Discussion
While almost nothing Mickey Loomis does makes any sense to me, we do have some things in common being carbon based life forms who breathe air and eat food. If we keep Michael Thomas, I just don't know anymore, it would make zero sense, maybe Mickey is living on another planet. I think MT's market value is $4 million or less. He went to twitter war with the $30 million QB. The dude is gone. I wish him luck. I don't buy any kind of suspense here.

DE Dorance Armstrong is still high on my list.
He has been very good in Dallas pass rush rotation last several seasons, consistently gets in the backfield and you can count in him to suit up & play on Sundays. |
