Also - I agree with the above posters saying Jason Verrett is a beast. I would love that pick.
I'm not sold on him. He seems to be one dimensional and we need a DE/OLB that can stop the run as well as rush the passer.

i am not going to be dumb enough to say Dee can not play but he reminds me of Jr. i do not think the saints defense needs anther player like that.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

Dee Ford is fantastic... But we already have a Jack LB as Hagan said about Junior. If we're gonna go LB in the 1st round it has to be one that can play the Sam spot and excel in coverage while offering a little pass rush too when we want to get aggressive. That man would be Kyle Van Noy. I can't wait to see him at the combine on Monday.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

well Moses screwed the pooch yesterday at the combine.
ten yard split of 1.95. pro day will be huge for him. dropping like a stone i guess on boards. I thought he would have had a better showing. put the pads on and he proves he can play ball. back to earth for all the hype. RT 2/3 round.

Maylock called it. the one that may have solidified himself to a top 50 player is

Joel Bitonio OT/OG Nevada 6'4" 302
Arms 33 7/8
broad jump at 9 feet, 6 inches.
three-cone drill in 7.37 seconds
20-yard shuttle drill in 4.44 seconds.
40-yard dash 4.97 seconds.
10 yard splits of 1.68 and 1.74 seconds
bench press 22 reps

Could he be the one to sneaks into the first? always have a couple.

He fits in at RT/LT for zone blocking schemes and teams with a short QB?

See two guys on this list that we could easily take in the third and fourth rounds, if they are there...

Was watching film on one of the tight ends on this list, reviewed his combine measurements, I can even see taking him in the second round if we let Graham chase the big mo...
