this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'm really starting to think none of the DT's in this draft are top 20 prospects. If the Nick Fairley signing is indeed imminent and doesn't fall through then I don't want want to reach on any DT at 12. ...

I'm really starting to think none of the DT's in this draft are top 20 prospects. If the Nick Fairley signing is indeed imminent and doesn't fall through then I don't want want to reach on any DT at 12. There will be way too many available in the second round. Gotta snag an every down DE to pair with Jordan in the first round... Or Treadwell.

The top 3 guards according to Walter Football all struggle with pass protection, and we all know that for Brees, pass protection up the middle is actually more essential than protection from the LT position. ![]()
