Neauxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx...

He has implosion power; we just took it in the a$$ with Junior's contract, why, in the name of all that smells in da 'Quarter would we want to sign another sour egg like Nick the wick?!?

I hear its a 5 year 85 million with 55 million guaranteed in the first three years...

On the one hand I'm bored not seeing us sign any of these big names, but on the other hand that approach hasn't done us any good recently so maybe this is a wiser, more responsible Payton/Loomis.

We had that player. His name was Akeem Hicks

Last year we didn't sign a perfect candidate who auditioned in our Dome for left guard (Clint Boling) when Cincy flat-out ran rough-shod over us the prior season...

Instead we signed Brandon Browner...

Year before the albatross was Jairus Byrd...

What does it tell you when Buffalo and New England fans are laughing when Loomis and Co. sign Byrd, Spiller and Browner?!?

Wait for it...

Yeah; doomed from the first day of the new league year... Maybe, just a little premature?!

I think ol' man Benson got tired of Loomis and Payton wasting so much money and put his foot down.

Or maybe everyone who signed today; got ungodly amounts of money... I mean Olivier Vernon 5 year 85 million something like 50 guaranteed, seriously?!

We sure did need to address several holes prior to the draft; it is understandable to be a little discouraged we were not able to at least address one singular position...

My genuine concern, fear is that we're going to reach and bust in this draft...

No, but it's discouraging that Loomis has managed the Saints Salary Cap no better than most Americans manage their credit card debt moving money around pay period to pay period...

This season there really isn't much available space without redoing several contracts...

For example, Brees/Condon stated they'd love to extend the contract...but at 20 mil/year!!!

Brees/Byrd/Browner/Junior - reality of those deals is just sinking in for us Saints fans...

If we were in major city...heads would've rolled...

JJ Watt type money.

Giants land Janoris Jenkins, re signed 3 finger JPP, Vernon and Damon Harrison. Immediate impact players on D. All on Spaggs now.

And he'll still suck with all of them.

Giants are loading up to make a final few runs while they have manning. They overpaid for every player they signed so they better hope it works out.

Sounds like they overpaid... I guess some financial magic can help down the line, but not a big fan of the deal or the player so I'll give the move a D-.

I think I'm with you on that one. It seems like a bad idea to bring him closer to home (Mobile, AL) where he's been arrested more than once.
