Vasquez struggled last season and was finally benched...



I'd really like to bring in Brian Hartline or Anquan Boldin to shore up the back end of the WR corps; I'd have concerns if Boldin could accept a supporting role at this stage of his career and allowing the emergence of Michael Thomas...

Payton Manning even struggled in Kubiak's scheme; it makes it impressive that those players in Denver won a Superbowl in spite of Gary Kubiak...

Nonetheless, Vasquez probably would command more than the Saints may be willing to allow...

And I'd say the Saints are really committed to giving Peat/Lelito at guards a go this season...

I remember Greg Cosell commenting last year that Nicks ran like a TE in Indy and his routes were no longer crisp as in years past (Giants). Hard to believe that Hakeem is only 28.

Not sure if he makes the roster down in New Orleans. Maybe there to push Coleman?

This league is as much about Attrition if nothing else...

We've got one Rush Linebacker/Edge Defender (Kikaha) likely lost for the season; Edebali didn't practice yesterday nor through OTAs; Rookie UDFA Pettway is PUP...

Our Left Tackle Armstead started PUP and now Rylker Matthew may have a torn meniscus cartilage which retards his development; Peat will likely be able to handle Left Tackle should it become extended duty, but now guard is thin and we need someone to step up (e.g. Landon Turner)...

Cooks, Thomas and Snead will be a force, for sure; so why not get an insurance plan in a legit vet?!?
