My question to this would be the ages of Strief and Unger. If healthy do you trade a proven LT in Armstead and draft a player to play RT to eventually take Striefs spot for the next 10 years or draft a C to eventually take Ungers spot? We basically have 3 LT's with 1 proven to play LG. The rookie isn't proven yet at this level but looks good so far and Strief(as good as he has been) isn't a spring chicken anymore as much as I like him.

Economics and priorities...

Some of the guys that will need to be extended in the next two years (2018, 2019) are Brees, Vaccaro, Breaux, Peat...

And are we going to have an offensive line of all Left Tackles, when we still seem to need cornerbacks, defensive line, linebackers, tight ends?

And do you wait till his trade stock will yield only a fourth round pick vs a second round pick?

Look, the last three drafts have had several quality offensive linemen, Big Ten Corn-Fed Milk-Farm boys right there at the end of the first and through the first half of the second round...

We'll get a younger, four-five year cap friendly linemen that can play right tackle which is a position that is a helluva lot easier to field than a left tackle...

Armstead, for all his tremendous athleticism, hasn't played a full 16 healthy yet...

No he hasn't and tell you what though that dude's contract makes him impossible to move. I am not sure when he becomes movable but i feel we are with our man, ride or die, for a few more years. Unless we can have him come back and play well then set up a trade. Just think with his recent injuries we are going to have him for a while.

It looks like it's possible if we wait for OTA/training camp injuries to pile up around the league. Though, by that time Armstead himself could be injured again.
