Get a first and third for Cooks, draft Kupp in the second, and we're moving along... |

Harper has nothing left to offer, save coaching and mentoring... Defenses really have to gel, sync, and while we have plenty of positions that could use upgrade, I don't agree that blowing the defense up, again, is the answer... |

For a guy that has 17 TD's and 2400 yards over the last 2 seasons I'd expect no less than a first round pick. I'd love to have 2 first round picks, our D could really use that help. Just imagine this; Mike Nolan propels Stephone Anthony's growth and he becomes the player we envisioned We then draft Derek Barnett for our DE and Reuben Foster at LB both in the first round Corner is handled in the second and third rounds How good would that be! Even better if we re-sign Fairley to a decent deal. |
Re: Brandin Cooks Trade Talks
The PhillyEagleNews is reporting the Eagles are offering a 2nd round pick and a player.

A source told Philly Voice's Jimmy Kempski that the Eagles are indeed likely to trade SLB Mychal Kendricks. Kempski previously strongly speculated Kendricks would be moved, and he now has a source confirming it. Kendricks regressed into a lightly used sub-package linebacker under first-year DC Jim Schwartz, playing fewer snaps than both MLB Jordan Hicks and WLB Nigel Bradham. If the Eagles can't find a taker for the remainder of Kendricks' five-year, $30 million deal, Kempski believes they may designate him a post-June 1 cut, freeing up $5 million in cap room. The Eagles would likely be willing to deal Kendricks for a mid- to late-round pick. Feb 12 - 7:01 PM Someone to keep Anthony company? |

Philly must think we are stupid. |
Re: Brandin Cooks Trade Talks
Mychal Kendricks I pondered and his a 34 LB and K is right he is a prime cap causality waiting to happen.

Re: Brandin Cooks Trade Talks
Didnt watch him last year so wasnt aware of him not playing.
No way trade for him. Id take him as a FA though |

If Philly ain't talking 1st rounder trade scenarios, we really don't have much to discuss at this point. |
Re: Brandin Cooks Trade Talks
Wait, I think I've figured it out... Cooks to Philly for Malcolm Jenkins!!!
|
Re: Brandin Cooks Trade Talks
I agree with that
If its a second it has to be a top player the other way |

Re: Brandin Cooks Trade Talks
Saints have already made it clear that Cooks wouldn't come cheap in any trade scenario + we gave up a 1st and a 3rd to get him. Getting less than that would be down right dumb.
Tell the Feagles to kick rocks. Saints would want a first-round pick for Brandin Cooks - NFL.com Edit: Brees84, LMAO on Agholor!! The guy can't catch a cold. |

Logan is solid player but not on the level of other Free agents to be: Williams, Chris Baker... Baker is also very good pass rusher... |

However, defense comes first and if the Eagles can send a top D player then great. |

One hack writer with 1200 followers says that it is Cooks pushing to get out, and no one else can corroborate Cooks is a top receiver. You don't just give those guys away. |
Re: Brandin Cooks Trade Talks
I might strongly consider a 2nd with Wentz but not just a 2nd by itself.
|
Re: Brandin Cooks Trade Talks
If we take a 2nd only then our front office is stupid but if we take #18 and a 2nd that's a different story and give us a little more back than we paid to get him in the first place.

Re: Brandin Cooks Trade Talks
We all love Cooks! He's a deep threat and a hell of a decoy.
He is part of the dynamic trio of Cooks , Thomas and Snead. We don't have the depth to let him leave currently when I look at the depth roster. It's a no brainer. Still, the idea of gaining a couple of high draft picks or an impact defensive player and high draft pick in a draft rich in defensive players at positions that we covet has it's merits. Ireland seems to have the eye for talent. If we give him a couple of more picks we might get lucky again like last year. |

I would do their 1st and a player, defensive of course. They be getting a good value and finally so will we!

Cooks is now an established, proven, elite receiver and opposite Jordan Matthews, keep the heat on 'em and get the 15th pick from 'em (Minnesota's pick) and then you can really jump start the defense, or trade that 15th pick down and pick up even more in this incredible draft... |
Re: Brandin Cooks Trade Talks
We shouldn't touch Kendricks as its sounds like the are trying to shop him before they habe to cut him. Id give them a late round pick for him as he is the sort of athletic LB we need or pick him up via FA after a cut
He shouldn't be a player we agree on especially not for him snd a 2. |
Re: Brandin Cooks Trade Talks
anything to help that pathetic defense . . our offense is never a question . . we will be alright with thomas, snead, and a receiver from the draft.
