That was yesterday. I think they are running different sets today. if it's the same today I want to know who the safety is.

Who are you talking about? A sizable contract ending up in dead money?

If you are talking about Ginn, he had one drop. Big deal. And he certainly doesn't have what anyone would call a "sizable contract". His three year contract only has $3 million guaranteed. That is next to nothing in today's world, but a single bobbled catch in practice means next to nothing itself in this scheme of things.

Unless, of course, people needs things to angst over.

:D

Explain how a sizable contract ends up in dead money (yes, there you go on that mindless subject again) because of a single drop in the first padded practice, especially when there is no "sizable contract" involved.

Like I implied, we have a couple of forum members who cannot be satisfied unless they are scrounging for anything to gripe about.

He is serious dude. His ability to break on the ball, that recovery, reminds me a lot of sanders speed

Glad to hear Fleener is looking ok. He was looking like a waisted contract too.

OMG tell me about it...trying to lead dead money three years straight.

Fuller from my alma mater is looking good. Coleman is doing his thing too. Very nice.

Hopefully this is a big year for fleecer

We have to be close to some kind of record. If Fleener doesn't work and we have to part ways with him we will set a record. How long is his contract? He needs to go off this year.
If he can't perform now he sure won't perform if Brees accuracy starts to go.

Brees is definitely one thing I am not worried about, but yes we are chasing the record if not owning it

One component of the team that one could argue was directly contributable to at least three losses last season alone, we've barely discussed this off-season is the kicking coverage game...

Coverage wasn't near as bad overall as the return aspect . Room for improvement across the board though.

Man, Breaux is having some really rough moments. Hope it's just rust.

Fuller likely the fastest player on the team. Probably going to happen a lot more without any help.

It's early too. Defense backfield is going to lose more at this point in camp. I've never been sold on Breaux, I hope I'm wrong.

Breaux has been getting beaten like a drum all camp from what I've heard. Every video I see during passing drills had Breaux giving up a reception.

WR/DB one on ones are ridiculously slanted towards the WR. Just the same way one on one pass-rush drills are slanted towards the DL.

Coverage is diificult no matter what, but I'd have to think this is a pretty accurate sentiment. You played, right Cru?

Seems like more locals right now: Mauti, Breux, Dural, Maulet I know of. Not really a thing, couple might not even stick but interesting.
