It seems as though Lattimore is dealing with more than dehydration then, considering he isn't practicing again.

God I hope it's not serious.

Those are guys that have never stayed healthy but all of a sudden it was a given they would be. Let's back up and do a wait and see please. Stop making false assumptions. Our defense has to have the softest players in the league...why do we not have the same amount of injuries out of our Offensive players.

Yes but we have to be positive! If we ignore the facts then these injuries and such won't happen!

Absolutely, definitely good to hear, and hopefully breaux and Latt are back tomorrow.

Yeah I'm not really sure what a "tweaked" knee is. Even a sprained ligament could keep him out for weeks.

Sean Payton: we will clean up our issues at center. Senio Kelemente for some work there today

— Steve Geller (@SteveGellerWWL) August 2, 2017

Translation, some one will be cut at the center position soon. It was pretty ugly today.

When you consider all the injuries we've faced the past couple of seasons, especially last season, I really like that each day it seems a player or two gets rotated in with the 1's...

You get a better evaluation of the player and you get to see the way the rest of that unit performs with that player...

They should just kick every player in the knee at the end of the season and let them get their yearly injury out of the way early.

So it is a sprain. Might as well sit out the preseason.

Players are dropping like flies across the league. At least we haven't had any carted off and declared out for the season. Giants Sterling Shepard - ankle - in tears. Texans Will Fuller - broken collar bone. Dolphins Jay Ajayi - concussion.

Chargers rookie Forrest Lamp suffered a right leg injury on a zone stretch play and had to be carted off.

Saints' rookie cornerback Marshon Lattimore (knee) won't be out long, Sean Payton says

By Josh Katzenstein jkatzenstein@nola.com,
NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune

New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore exited practice Monday with an apparent injury, but coach Sean Payton provided a hopeful update about the rookie after Wednesday's practice.

"I think he'll be fine," Payton said. "It won't be long."

Lattimore, the 11th overall pick in this year's draft, "tweaked" his knee, according to Payton. The first-rounder sat out Wednesday after missing the majority of Monday's session -- the team was off Tuesday.

Lattimore appeared to suffer the injury while covering wide receiver Michael Thomas in a one-on-one drill Monday, but he stayed on the field for a few team reps after that play.

Knee injuries can obviously be serious, but it's still good news for the Saints that Lattimore didn't suffer a hamstring injury, something that he had lingering issues with while at Ohio State.
