Dude gets his femur broken in a game, comes back and plays again after 6 weeks and now he's "Vagineaux?"

There's lots of legitimate things you could complain about but I think that's a ridiculously high standard.

Yeah, Spike, I always appreciate the healthy dose of the skeptic you provide, but, damn, Ute is right, Del Breaux did man-up like a soldier and was back a month and a half later...

The vagineaux thing was funny; I've got a buddy who's about to get a new nickname... ;)

That is who I was talking about. I said Butler, but that's who I am talking about, Victor

Man, hope Hau'oli's body can take that kind of stress; he's definitely soldiering-up to the task...

He hasn't stayed healthy since. He was placed on IR last season. I am kidding anyway, but in all honesty he hasn't really stayed healthy since

Yeah, he did get put on IR in week 16 but he sustained the injury in week 14 against the Bucs. He kept playing until the Saints were out of it. Between that and the 6 week recovery from the broken femur, I thought the dude was a tough as a two dollar steak.

But with all the injuries to the secondary last year, I can see where you're coming from. And "Vagineaux" is funny. I hope he doesn't live up to it.

Hard to believe the long snap issue. I have never heard of this being an issue for any team since I can remember.

Yeah, I don't either. Good hell...get someone in there that can snap the ball.

Yeah I was just being lite with the board.

It could be precautionary, which is fine, but yeah we need him to stay healthy

We need to find a way to keep Victor. Whether it be on the team or PS, need to hang onto him.

I saw Muhammed on the inside get a sack against Brees a little bit ago. Maybe it was a stunt, not sure, but he didn't come from end position. He's big

So it looks like AJ Klein is locked in as the Sam and Alex Anzalone is getting the majority of first team reps at Will... Who's gonna emerge in the middle? Te'o and Robertson have taken turns but Anthony has shown improvement.

Re: 2017 New Orleans Saints Training Camp

They have to expect Kelemete back real soon or they would have already shopped for another training camp center to shotgun snap. Unger appears to be closer to a return as well.

Not sure what Vitt was thinking by moving the kid from MIKE to the outside last season. Kind of like moving RB Ingram to FB . All I know is that Stephone has had 2 different coordinators & had to learn two different systems. Nolan will give SA every opportunity to succeed in the middle. There is better talent surrounding him this year as well.

Side note - don't sleep on Teo'. When healthy, the skill set is there to take command of a defense.

Re: 2017 New Orleans Saints Training Camp

I guess it doesn't really matter who the Mike is in base because in nickel and other sub-packages Klein is playing Mike.

This is true and we are in those sub-packages around 60% of the time.

Re: 2017 New Orleans Saints Training Camp

More highlights from Thursday's Saints practice: Michael Thomas caught a TD fade from Drew Brees and a TD slant from fourth-string QB Ryan Nassib on a day that was heavy on red-zone work. Brees also threw a perfectly-timed back-shoulder TD to Ted Ginn Jr. … Tempers flared a couple times between the offense and defense for the third or fourth time this week. Though some of that is normal in camp, Sean Payton appeared to admonish players for too much of it during one session. … Cam Jordan, Alex Okafor and Hau'oli Kikaha (with the second string) each appeared to get at least one sack inside the 10-yard line. … Receiver Corey Fuller had several nice catches as he has continued to be one of the most impressive players in camp. But don't forget about last year's undrafted rookie breakout, Tommylee Lewis, who has come on strong this week and caught a deep pass from Daniel.

I'd bet a paycheck that was D.A.'s call and not Vitt as Joe Vitt couldn't troubleshoot his way out of a hat...

Bringing in Mike Nolan will help D.A. as much as Anthony and the other linerbackers he will be responsible...

Worst comes to worst maybe we can pick up someone from a team with depth at the position and loses the job simply because they are stacked.
One of our WRs are going to be in that number once cuts start.

I think that was more of a DA call from what I remember reading. Vitt should have stepped in. Don't have to worry about that anymore.

Nothing real exciting happening in practice today. Brees and Jordan are getting veteran days off.

Just got back to the house. I see nothing much is going on today other than Breaux returning.
