Several sources reporting ATL and WAS trying to move into the Top 10, including this guy...

We’ll probably have a boring weekend. Game of Thrones on Sunday though.

I'm just wondering, how can they possibly wrap this whole thing up with only 4 more episodes? I know they're gonna be longer, but not that much longer. I really hope it has a satisfying ending. I'm prepared to see almost everyone die, but give us a good ending please.

Hopefully better than the book's version.

No way to know. Still waiting on books six (The Winds of Winter) and seven (A Dream of Spring) to be completed.

And the Patriots have a lot of picks this year, at least three in the third alone...

Been saying that this was a deep draft, so glad we traded away our first and third...

I’m rooting for the Night King. I can’t lie. Lol.

Wanna see Dany and Sansa in a big cat fight with no Dragons or Dire Wolves, just nails and fists (John's pup is still around and Arya's is pup MIA)...

And Jaime had better mount up with Lady Brien of T'arth cause Tormund is gonna tear that up he wants to make babies with that big beautiful woman so bad...

Another good cat fight would be Cersei Lannister and Arya Stark; I'd bet Cersei lasts longer than she'd get credit before Arya would rip her face off...

Oof... Why do our division rivals get the great LSU LB’s?

Why are all these "football" people at a Taylor Swift show?

Because Payton refuses to draft them.

G Chris Lindstrom to the Failclowns.

I don’t understand anything the Giants are doing these days. They traded away the best NT in football last season for a 5th round pick and just used a 1st round pick on a NT.

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Draft

We have to trade up somehow. Too many offensive weapons on the cheap. Never seen a draft like this one. Real steals in the 2nd and 3rd. At least trade up for a 3rd. Most of these 1st rounders will be bust. OL, those take 2-3 years to develop. Same for QB and TE.

Stupid front office. I’m dumbfounded. Daniel Jones? Come on...he would have been there in the 2nd round.

The Giants are doing what someone who doesn’t know what to do decides its time to go ‘outside the box’.

Throwing sh1t at the wall to see what sticks.

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Draft

That is a dumb move but fairly standard. Get a QB and monitor the starter. If they start tanking, insert the rookie and people accept it as learning the ropes when he also fails. Finish strong and par for the course.

I’m actually ok with not having a 1st round pick because this draft class is abysmal at the top.

That’s what Mike D said but he also said there are a lot of good mid round guys.

I’m starting to wish we had it. Greedy Williams is still there. A steal this late in the 1st.

Maybe we trade down to pick up more picks?

I'm ok with that if it's only a few spots...we are already picking at the end of the 2nd...there will be lots of good players still on the board in the morning with 1st round grades.

Giants somewhat redeemed themselves with the Baker pick though.

I just don't like the knock on him that he doesn't tackle. I don't know from watching him.

LOL no Greedy Williams, DK Metcalf, Drew Lock or Jawaan Taylor in the first round. Those are all guys thought to be top half of the 1st round players. With every year that goes by I realize more and more that nobody knows anything about what’s going to happen in the draft. The speculation is such a waste of time.

We’ve had too many of those on the team over the years.

Big reach. Most big boards had Lindstrom anywhere from 32 to 52. They must've seen something in him that others didn't.

Starting to really respect Coach Dan Quinn. When you see your guy there, you've got limited resources to spend in Free Agency with those linebackers coming up on veteran contracts - you check off a big position of need...

No one probably offered adequate compensation at that point; and once you give it up like a ***** in trade as Loomis, you're stuck with that reputation and I'm sure that all factored into the selection...

Is it a reach, yes. But was it that much a reach? No.

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Draft

Guess the pressure of replacing Khalil Mack was too great for the Raiders, I wouldn't have passed on Devin White...

Have my doubts about Bruce Arians after choosing to stick with crab claws at QB, buttaking White tells me that he's not an idiot either. He just may be having a bad case of Coach's Challenge...

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Draft

I'll tell you this - I wished Sean Payton would have to face the media firestorm for his draft gaffes that Dave Gettleman is going to be facing if Daniel Jones is a complete flop...

No reason with the league's all-time passer to have just one Superbowl trophy in that time...

jeanpierre 04-26-2019 03:38 AM

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Draft

Looks like it was total horsesh*t about the Vikings moving up to select Andre Dillard - guess it worked because they selected Garrett Bradley...

Surprising Risk because although he's a stand-out athlete, I don't know that he's got the sand to be a dominant NFL lineman...
