His throws are crisp and on point. He makes good decisions with the football. Takes sacks when he should. IMO, he's better than Jamies.
jnormand, jeanpierre and dizzle88 like this.

You may right. He at least seems competent. And steady.

Not from what I've been seeing. Not even close. I've seen far too much hesitation letting open receivers get covered before the ball arrives. I've seen multiple occasions where passes are floated instead of being zipped in there. Any offensive success statistically speaking by Siemian has come late in the game when we have been down by large margins and the defense has gone into a prevent mode.

He's started 2 games. Why don't you give him a minute to get acclimated to running the offense. At least we're seeing him have success.

5 TDs. 0 INTs. Over 700 yds passing. 94pt QBR. It's a very good start.

He's looking just like he looked in 2017-18 when he started 25 games in Denver. He's tentative, holds onto the ball, takes a lot of sacks, and completes under 60% of his passes. He's exactly who he's always been.

Tentative? Could it be the meager receivers he's working with?

Takes a lot of sacks? Should he be pass blocking for himself?

60% completion? Should he also be CATCHING his own passes?

He took over the Broncos team in 2017 that carried Peyton Manning to the Super Bowl title the season before. He had the same receiving corps as Manning. He looked the same as he looks now.

Only his performance in New Orleans has so far been much, much better.

You sound like me talking about Winston.

Plus-one; Sean was trying to re-mould Jameis Winston from a gunslinger into a new precision quarterback, so that would flow to expect hesitation from Winston...
