I thought Brown was highly overrated last year.

How interested are the New Orleans Saints in landing defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey? They’re reportedly including in the trade package starting left tackle Jamaal Brown.

According to Pete Prisco of CBSSports.com, the Saints are shopping Brown, a Pro Bowler in 2006.

Presumably, the Saints have offered Brown and the No. 10 overall pick to the Rams, for the No. 2 selection. If so, how do the Rams not take it? Brown is under contract through 2011, at a base salary of only $752,500 this year.

At No. 10, the Rams could then target someone like Florida defensive end Derrick Harvey. It would allow the Rams to address significant needs on each side of the line, and ensure them at least one proven player as a result of the transaction.

We should get a 3 back with the rights to pick Dorsey...

You are contridicting yourself. "to get rid of nebody on the best line in the league last season is stupid..." but you are ok with letting Faine go??? The line wasn't the best in the league or we would have been sitting pretty in the SB. When your team doesn't make the SB anyone and everyone is expendible.

Disagree with just about everything u said....as everyone knows u need a full team to get to the super bowl...and the great cliche....DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS.....guess what...our offense is stellar...it was sluggish starting the season last year but we picked it up..no doubt drew is a beast and saved himself on a lot of occassions....everyone will agree with me..not necessarily on the position....but our line is not the problem....our defense is...y would we trade brown when it will only hurt us....the gm truely believes we are better off without faine bc we have a great backup and we also brought in matt lehr

IMO Strief is better than Brown right now! I know I'm going to hear it for saying this, but Brown is the most over-rated OT in the NFL.

Agree with this assestment. There was moments Brown choked. People over rate our OL way to much just because of the numbers we put up. What they fail to realize how ineffective we become againts good D lines and the fact that Drew Brees is a master at getting rid of the ball and avoiding sacks. With the weapons he has he's been able to make our line look awesome. Give credit where credit is due. Brown is expendable just like Faine was. Faine was HORRIBLE, missed way to many blocks for the amount of money he wanted so he's gone -CYA!

The reason I don't see the Rams taking the officer is the fact they have targeted and singled out DE LONG as their pick. Dorsey is still in play.
