Re: 2014 NFL Draft
The Saints did not have a single defensive touchdown this year, a ball-hawking safety like Bucannon or Reynolds would bode well.

Very good read on Kerr, good find. I would take a chance with a late pick, I like your FS pick also but I really like Buccanon a little better.

At this point, I'm more concerned about his knee & if he is completely healthy. For all of the Bama haters, keep a 'lazy eye' on him against OU in the Sugar Bowl. Impressive player & groomed by Saban. |

odds are they will lose him. the browns do not break the bank on players. but were do we come up with the 10 million he is likely to get on the market. once again it would be selling a championship ship run for a few years to him. can you say the one move that could lead to dynasty? yep i think that would push the saints into an elite statues. fingers crossed on a rookie OT and add in another OT or two in the draft then we might have this issue on the OL solved till drew retires. Sign Mack and Streif draft Zack Martin, G/OT, Notre Dame Morgan Moses, ROT/OG Virginia Two OT than can play either side Both have the athleticism to slide inside to OG if needed ok time to wake up and smell the roses He may want to return to the west coast. the niners have an opening at center. now that would suck |

Roman Harper ? ok i am still dreaming here if the saints did pull a move and signed Grahm you know some team favs would have to moved to the dislike of most fans Quote:
pull the trigger if the second was this year. and swap R3 and get R4 Quote:
gotta get their second this year and their third either way the other team needs to include their second if we are to trade out of one. we need the picks now not next year. |
Re: 2014 NFL Draft
That TE from Texas Tech would be a nice addition...

Re: 2014 NFL Draft
Draft talk is meaningless before free-agency. Loomis always adresses weaknesses via free agency before the draft, which enables us to select BPA at all but a couple of positions.
I wonder if Ryan has identified a few Cowboy FA's that wanna play here next year? |

Just because their defense sucked doesn't mean they have no talent. We had the crappiest defense in the NFL in 2012 with Jordan, Hicks, Bunkley, Greer, Hawthorne, and Lofton on the roster. And there may even be a few offensive free-agents that might like to jump that sinking ship. Just a thought. |

Hatcher didn't do well in Rob's system, just this year he has done well. I'll pass because he will be asking for big money.

And I read he's a much better fit in a 4-3 than a 3-4. And yes I know we ran more 4 man fronts this year than 3 man fronts but I think when we get some more 3-4 LB's in here we'll see more true 3 man fronts. |

I agree, with our CAP situation, it probably would not be best pursue him if he really is trying to ask for big money. If he was searching around for a salary like the one he has now though, yeah, I would snatch him up very quick. |

As for everything else.... Yes OLB does stand out... We need one. A rangy ball-hawking Free Safety as well... I think if we take the same approach we did last season and hit with another free agent CB...( Talib, Grimes ) Take a free safety from this draft this D can be something special.... not just a comeback story!!! |

i have watched more than once this year being stuck on the east coast in acc land. i just do not get the kid. talent is there but he just leaves me disappointed in every game. he is inconsistent big time. lazy untapped potential sell me on him for some reason i can see SP getting another toy early R1 - Odell Beckham Jr., WR, LSU just can see this pick all day long from him. |
Re: 2014 NFL Draft

In the 34, many opposing coaches remarked that he was "unblockable"; the GT staff changed with a new 43 alignment and so he was inconsistent with the adjustments to the new scheme... The (common) big knock on the kid per a couple of scouting sites is that he's passionate to a fault which can get himself in situations where he out of position or has p/o the officials (personally, we could use some fire on this squad, but it does need to be tempered)... We need guys that are sudden, just wicked fast and as strong; located some footage and posted here for you... Georgia Tech?s Jeremiah Attaochu and Why His Versatility Will Appeal to 3-4 and 4-3 Defenses Anyways, it's either him or ILB Chris Borland, Wisconsin; but Attaboy has more upside... |

I'm withdrawing my support for Haha Clinton-Dix in the first round. The guy was a ghost last night.
