I'd like a #1 wr so teams can't put their best corners/safeties on Graham. Mike Evans A&M.

I'm leaning toward a WR to go along with Stills, Graham can't get off a phsical corner for crap, I don't see him getting off a #2 or #3 corner all that well that plays physical, it could be a real problem. Also do you cough up a ton of money when he has holes that big in his game?

I think you do. Even with "holes that big" he's still the leading receiver among TEs, by a pretty big margin.

Play to his strengths and work on his weakness'.

besides after todays game i think we have LOT.

Its Washingtons pick they are trying to get out of.The last of the RGIII trade.Proven to ve s great trade for the Rams if you really look inti it.

They traded away 2nd overall in 2for Washingtons 6th pick (then flipped that) 2nd rounder and 2013/2014 1st rounders(2nd pick this year).
All together

2012 Traded pick 2 for pick 6 and a second rounder. Pick 6 was traded to the Cowboys for pick 14 and a second rounder.

They got
Michael Brockers DT
Isiah Pead RB
Janorious Jenkins CB

2013
Traded Washingtons pick and there 7th for Atlantas 1st,3,6.Then traded there own 6th and the clowbs for Houstons 5th.

They got
Alex Ogltree LB
Steadman Bailey
Zac Stacy

2014
Washingtons 1st (pick 2)

That is great wirk from the GM

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

lee i was thinking washington would trade back into the first with there second rounder since they do not have a 1 and with RG# , a new coach and glaring needs up and down the OL. i think the coach will want to make improvements right out of the gate.

Cyril Richardson is fantastic, but if we draft him do we put him at right tackle or center?

Trade 'em Grubbs for a Round 3 pick; we gain a value pick and some needed salary cap relief...

I wouldn't be surprised.
I couldn't believe how much the Rams pick up by dealing them picks. I was sceptical as im unsure on Bradford but they can go and risk a shot on a QB this year or even trade down with somebody who is desperate for either Matthews or Clowney and still get one if the QB prospects.

The Saints could use an upgrade at right tackle. Plus, it wouldn't hurt to grab a player with experience on the blind side in case Terron Armstead doesn't pan out.*

Hurst (6-7, 310) answered doubters with a solid performance against Jadeveon Clowney in the 2013 season opener. Hurst won their one-on-ones and kept Clowney from getting to the quarterback. However, Hurst could use more power for moving defenders at the point of attack. He was generally solid against Georgia Tech and defensive end Jeremiah Attaochu, but did allow a sack to him. Overall, Hurst does well against speed-rushers, though he doesn't make a big impact as a run-blocker.*

Hurst had a quality 2012 season blocking on the ground for Giovani Bernard and in pass protection for Bryn Renner. It was Hurst's third-straight good season for the Tar Heels, and the junior could have warranted early-round consideration if he had entered the 2013 NFL Draft.*

Hurst was a freshman sensation in 2010. He started 12 games at left tackle and graded out at a high level. Hurst stayed in the lineup as a sophomore and had a good season blocking for Bernard.*

27th pick. Great (but not perfect) season.

27. New Orleans Saints

Record: 11-5
Needs: OT, OLB, CB
Analysis: The Saints' offensive line is very solid on the interior but they could upgrade the tackle position. With all of the young, talented quarterbacks in the NFC, you can never have enough cornerbacks.

i like Hurst but i think what you see is what you get with him. not all that fluid but he gets the job done. I worry about run blocking and bull rushes at the next level with him. looks like RT is the position to be filled and that is the bull rush side.

that is why Moses is still my pick ahead of Hurst. I think your only begin to see what this kid can do. man o man what improvement in his game for 2013, dropping some 30 or 40 pounds has made a world of difference in his pass blocking. tell you this there is a who's who's list of DE will be drafted ahead of him that he shut all them down.

I watch a lot of acc games stuck in the east coast.

Moses is the Rodney Dangerfield of the 2014 draft.

necks out on the chopping block with this kid now

I generally agree with this but i think with DREW widow of bring home another super bowl has to happen now. offense has to take a front seat in the draft.

Rounds 2 and/or 3 Right Tackle

JaWaun James from UT would be good in the 3rd.

Jordan Matthews wide receiver, Vanderbilt. I don't know if any of you heard about this, but apparently he showed up at the senior bowl and asked for film on all of the corners he would be facing. Enough said for me. I'm sold. He also happens to be a heck of a football player.

Latest three round mock from Walt over at Walterfootball.com:

Rd. 1) Scott Chrichton- DE/OLB (Oregon St.)

Rd. 2) Christian Jones- ILB (FSU)

Rd. 3) Jarvis Landry- WR (LSU)

I don't agree with the first round pick but if we landed Jones and Landry then I would be ecstatic.

Unless he shats his pants in Indy, Landry will be gone by the end of the second round...definitely an intriguing pick though if opportunity presents itself in the third round...

Deone will blow up during the combine and bowls. There is 1% chance he falls to us in the second.

"The Fairfield, Calif. native enters the Gildan New Mexico Bowl as the NCAA’s active leader in career solo tackles, tied for second in career interceptions and fifth in career tackles."

He is 6'1, who has ran a 4.47 40 but average is about 4.57. Vaccaro and Deone would be such a young and awesome tandem for years to come.

Thinking of going to the Reese's Bowl - NFL Draft Prospects, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups - only regret is that it's in Mobile...

But Zach, if he proves to be worth the first rounder when we're scheduled to pick, I'd draft him and we'd have an All-Pro Backstop...

I love Verrett. Very good cover skills, and he has fluid hips and the speed to turn and run with any WR. A lot of people think he's destined to be a slot corner at the next level, but imo he can definitely play on the outside.
He's better in run support than you would think as well, so that's another plus.
