The funny thing is... Brate and Howard are both better than Gronk at this point.

Gronk isn't the same player as he once was though + his body is starting to fail him. At this point, he's more name than threat.

Bruce Arians doesn’t really utilize TE’s in his offense so it’s kind of a strange move.

Yeah, they didn't really utilize either Howard nor Brate last season, but I guess they might change things up for TB12.

I'd call it a security blanket for Brady. Just something comfortable that makes him feel more at home. Also heard today that Gronk has slimmed up and they plan to use him more of a receiver than TE.

Good point. They may be looking at offensive tackle in the Draft to protect Brady...

All I ask is to draft a LB in the first round

Now that the 2020 draft is complete, here is a short list of the Free Agents I'd like to land in NO.

Clay Matthews
Everson Griffen
Logan Ryan
Alec Ogletree

I thought Dalton would have been a good back up to brees but wouldn’t come on the cheap like Winston .

Shirley, we'll make one more safety net signing before camp. And don't call me surely!

With the Hill, Winston and Rookies salaries coming on the books surely Warford is getting traded or released. Can't see him taking a big pay cut and honestly why should he.

I'd rather cut Easton. His savings would be almost 4.4M and you could still keep a starter. If Ruiz is better and wins at camp, terrific.

It's just me speaking but finding serviceable lineman isn't that easy to find at this level.

Chicago Bears to sign veteran WR, returner Ted Ginn Jr.: report.

I serious expect it will be McCoy competing with Warford at RG under that scenario. I believe the center job is Ruiz' already.

Ole' stone hands. I never understand why any team signs a guy that can stretch the field but can't catch the ball. Blows me away.

Easy to say cut Easton and keep the better player. But it's how they'll react to it. Will Warford stay in shape, react well to being a back up if he didn't win the job outright.

Why?!? Easton was our best guard in the playoffs last year...

Apparently he wasn't that good because he didn't get playing time unless someone went down. Sean Payton had to shift his blocking philosophy when he was in with additional help with double teams and chips according to what I've read.

Actually, with these new UDFA O-linemen we brought in our depth just might get even stronger. The word on some of these UFDA's is they can play multiple positions. We've got a couple of tackles that will likely move to guard that have potential and good measurables.

I think Mitch was simply a bad pick by Ryan Pace and his scouts.

All I see from him over the years is a decent "back up" candidate.
