Laurinitus finished last weeks game with 1 tackle and 2 assisted tackles Robertson finished with 13 tackles i believe. No one can tell me Laurinitus is better than Stephone Anthony. The coaches made him a scape goat so they could justify signing Laurinitus saying that Anthony didn't get the D lined up properly. It was not Anthony's fault the D line couldn't get pressure and brandon browner got burned or flagged every play. |

Saints' Dannell Ellerbe, Kenny Vaccaro on practice field; Terron Armstead not present
(excerpt) The New Orleans Saints could be on the road to a healthier roster for Week 4's road game against the San Diego Chargers... Linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (quad), safety Kenny Vaccaro (ankle), wide receiver Willie Snead (toe), defensive tackle Tyeler Davison and tight end Josh Hill (ankle) were observed on the field Wednesday participating in the stretching and conditioning portion of practice open to the media... Unfortunately, left tackle Terron Armstead, who missed Week 3 with a knee injury, and offensive lineman Senio Kelemete were not observed on the field. Kelemete suffered a hamstring injury against the Atlanta Falcons and did not finish the game. Defensive end Obum Gwacham was also not observed on the field and his status is unclear. Cornerback Delvin Breaux remains absent while he recovers from surgery to repair a broken fibula... |

I like the way Fairley's contract was set up too. $3million, down from $5million the Rams paid him last year, but with built in incentives. 250,000 each for 45, 55, 65% of snaps $250,000 each for 4, 5.5, 7 sacks 35% of snaps + 4 sacks: $250,000 If he hits all the incentives, he makes $4.75 million. That would be the best season of his career for less than he was making last year. But Robertson has got to be the deal of the offseason. $1.7 mil, down from $2.3 million the Browns were paying him and he's on pace for over 120 tackles. That would be double his best year with the Browns. He's clearly been the best linebacker we've put on the field this year. |

After comeback win in San Diego, Saints say bye week is just what the doctor ordered | Saints | theadvocate.com
(excerpt) In his 10-plus years in the NFL, New Orleans Saints fullback John Kuhn has heard every bye-week complaint in the book. Whether it’s too early or too late, someone will find a reason not to like it. Without fail, once the bye week comes along, the locker room suddenly gets quiet. At the start of the season, the Saints weren’t thrilled about having their bye in Week 5, the thought process being that they would need it later in the year. Then the Saints had seven players inactive for Sunday’s 35-34 win against the Chargers in San Diego, with a handful of others playing through the pain. There were no more complaints. |

I think Anthony may still be nursing an injury. It's the only explanation I can come up with. Still, it's possible he doesn't have the intelligence needed for a cerebral defense or it could be the coaching. I'm leaning toward coaching.
