Are there some challenges, with regards to the offensive line - sure. But we have a very good starting defense with some decent rotational depth at all positions... We may very well have the best 3 WR set now in the NFL... The obvious concerns are the offensive guards where I've been really disappointed in Lelito who I still have high hopes and I'd add Tight End to real concerns... The defense has been so bad for seemingly so long, that mediocre would be embraced; but this defense by season's end will be more than mediocre - they can be special and I believe that. |

Guess Coach likes calling his kicker Cobra Kai Forbath; once again, while the competition was close, Barth performed better but was let go... Only kept one Defensive End with size, Cam Jordan, who can anchor the edge in short yardage, and heavy run situations... Kept three "speed" rushers in Kruger, Edebali and Gwachum; it's why I've listed Onyemata on the edge behind Cam Jordan... Only seven offensive linemen with Armstead aching and moaning this early? Who's paying the bills for Barnes through Week 1? Besides the obvious at Right Guard, I hope we're looking for another big receiver that we can trust to protect the ball? The big FA signing is gonna shine like a big black eye when Fleener is unreliable in must-have plays and we still have holes on this roster... No one will be asking 'Who?'when it comes to Hoomanawanui with no TEs that can block (and fewer who'll reliable catching the damn ball)... Really like Tommylee and his story, but defenses are gonna be looking for sweeps - so what's the use when he's exposed on pass plays? Since that playoff loss at Seattle Beastquake, I'd favor plenty of RBs, but either Ingram, Spiller or Hightower will be traded, right?!? What's the over/under on roster moves for the Saints by Tuesday after Game 1? |

Re: 2016 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
It should be something they can do to be honest
There is no excuse for it. I know the kicking is a bit different but look at Rugby were a fly half can kick the ball on the drop, often positionally very well and also takes the place kicking. I know the timing is different but if trained properly i see no reason a player could learn. Same with a centre really, why cant they learn to snap longer from a younger age |

Robbie Gould anyone

Long snapping and the regular shotgun snap is very very different. A proper long snap is best described throwing a pass backwards between your legs. It take a lot of time and reps to be able to do it as consistent as expected from an NFL LS. I honestly don't think a C has the time to do it. Maybe if you has a backup C that could. |
