And the Broncos do have a 1st. They got it in trade from the 49er's. It could end up anywhere from 25th to 32nd depending on how the Niners do this postseason. |

I agree that Payton covets the draft picks and that's why it will be part of the decision on where he goes, if he goes. That #3 in Arizona and that #2 in Houston really make them attractive spots for him all other things considered. Denver is attractive because of Russell Wilson and the ownership and front office.

A loss to the Jags this afternoon could bring the Chargers into the mix. An opening round exit could give us a pick in the late teens. I would expect Payton wouldn't mind having Justin Herbert to play with and then there the fact that Payton already makes his home in LA.
I'm going to be a huge Jags fan today. That would be our best legitimate shot at a 1st round pick that high, I believe. |
