You're one of the preachiest people I have ever encountered, and frankly it is infuriating sometimes. Particularly when you're so very wrong but you're 100% sure that you're right.
Well, my avatar is a priest so ...

But, I am very seldom wrong, yet when I have been, both times, I have readily admitted such.

Same here, my family says my problem is I always think I’m right. Once, I thought I made a mistake, but I was wrong...

He went to hold her and she looked at him and said, "I'm sorry. I think I'm about to die." She didn't have any chance. It apparently happened so quickly,' King told the outlet.

I was literally not provided service for having no shirt and no shoes, even though the sign said “no shirt, no shoes, no service.” But that’s beside the point.

Re: Backlash from Michael Thomas, among others, forces Drew Brees to clarify comments

It’s all about the opinion that is popular at the moment. With social media the way it is it changes daily.
You oppose riots and you’re labeled a racist
You choose to protest by kneeling and you’re labeled anti American.
There is no middle ground anymore.
The only thing that will truly defeat racism is a complete change in thinking. When Floyd was murdered for the first time in history I saw conservatives, liberals, 2nd amendment and self defense advocates, police officers and everyone else who saw that video agree that it was nothing short of murder. Peoples minds started changing and people could see that the struggles of black Americans are very very real. White america was finally open to admitting the problem is much bigger than they thought.
Then the riots started as peoples minds were just beginning to change. The riots just reinforced the belief in those who think black people bring it upon themselves. Condoning the riots didn’t help an already volatile situation.
I have heard the names Brees, Thomas, Kamara, Jenkins, etc so many times in the last 72 hours I can’t even count but one name I never hear anymore is George Floyd. I have seen and heard finger pointing and have heard people demand change but I haven’t heard a single person offer a solution.
This is a conversation that needs to be had. What is it that I can do as a white American to help “fix” this problem? Please educate me so I can educate others. What can be done? What can we do together as a country?
If someone from the black community can come up with a rational and realistic solution without going to some radical extreme I want to hear it and want to be a part of it. All I hear is how white people arent listening, well I’m listening. Racism is a very real problem in America and I can’t deny it so what am I to do about it?

People need to realize there is a middle ground and there will likely be compromises on both sides. This whole all or nothing idea that people have adopted over the past few years isn’t going to work.

It was not addressed to you, me or any other individual. Therefore, any apology is only applicable to those two individuals.

There is no double standard whatsoever.
You are a peculiar character. You claim to have been in every industry under the sun. I have no way of knowing the truth to these claims, but it strikes me as questionable. But you also claim to be conservative, while you are sitting there spouting political correctness.

What Drew said was not offensive. And before you say "whatever offends a person is offensive to them" - because I'm sure you will - let me offer a little sanity to counter that BS. There is no such thing as "your truth" or "my truth". There is only THE truth. Truth is not a matter of opinion. You don't get to bend reality to match your feelings. The truth is that the American flag represents America, as well as the millions who have fought for it's freedom. If you have a problem with America, the flag is not your enemy. Be that as it may, people get to have stupid opinions. That's part of being free. But only one ethnicity gets to have an opinion? I don't think so. And that is where these players, the media, and the entire left is WRONG.

You know what else is truth? "systemic racism" is a fake narrative. It does not exist. That is not my opinion, it is backed up by statistics. If Drew has to apologize for what he said (he doesn't) which was not directed at anyone, but rather a position he holds out of respect for the country he loves, then Malcolm Jenkins ABSOLUTELY should apologize to Brees for trying to control his ability to take HIS stand.

It matters not whether Jenkins directed his comments at any of us, or just Brees. It's about calling for consistency. And, by the way, if Jenkins hates Brees for what he said, then that means he hates everyone who disagrees with him. Think about that, before you try to straddle the fence with your PC nonsense.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.
