We ALL know his injury history + he'll be 31 in July. I'm a HUGE fan of his but he can't stay healthy. It sucks but it's true. I'll be curious to see what happens for him in Free Agency. |

He's barely 25 and has incredible range. Does he take a bad angle from time to time? Sure he does but who doesn't? They all do. Let me be clear, his range is a trait only a select few FS have at this level. |

Believe they'll either make every effort to sign him with a low cap number in the first year of the contract, best case situation... Or the realities of finance will finally catch up to Loomis and he'll tell the staff and Williams' agent some disappointing news to fans... |

Re: 2021 NFL Free Agency: New Orleans Saints
What will be as important in Free Agency as securing our FS in Marcus Williams and getting a proven quantity at WRz in DJ Chark or Christian Kirk, will moving contracts...
Armstead (FA), Peat (Sign/Trade), Malcolm Jenkins (Trade), and maybe one or two more surprise moves will be as important as acquisitions... |

[quote=jeanpierre;944570]Three (3) moves I'd like to see the Saints get done in Free Agency: [LIST=1][*]Sign/Extend FS Marcus Williams Yes! Yes! Yes! He's the glue for the secondary. [*]Sign a WRz (e.g. D.J. Chark, Christian Kirk, Will Fuller) If we sign one of those guys and can't call Mike comes back healthy we have an above average receiving core. Callaway and company could easily hold down the number three and four receiving spots. Fingers crossed that we can retain Harris. I would draft or bring in a young player with more than just potential to compete with our current TE roster. When Taysom plays that role he's pretty good too. [*]Sign all our RFAs/ERFAs Yes Please! Edit ... I entered draft comments in the wrong thread.

Re: 2021 NFL Free Agency: New Orleans Saints
DJ Chark Jr., Allen Robinson, Chris Godwin, Juju Shuster, Mike Williams.
Saints need to be aggressive here. Average joes = average results. I was high on Michael Gallup before the injury (torn ACL) but I have a feeling Jerrah will take care of guys who put in work. Quite possible he may end up re signing with the Cows. |
Re: 2021 NFL Free Agency: New Orleans Saints
No idea if/when the league will hand down a suspension on AK however ...
KC Chiefs RB- Darrel Williams becomes a FA next month. Capable starter however with the emergence of Clyde Edwards-Helaire & McKinnon, Darrel has fallen down to #3 on the depth chart. |

Re: 2021 NFL Free Agency: New Orleans Saints
With Vonn Bell helping lead his team into the Super Bowl today I was thinking it’s crazy how we let Bell walk because Payton regretted letting Malcolm Jenkins get away. In reality, we should’ve kept Bell. Personally, I’m kind of excited that Payton won’t be making personnel decisions anymore.
