Awesome for the Bengals.

Bengals aren't done retooling that offensive line...

Hope the Saints make the same effort re: the offensive line, but via the NFL Draft...

Who else is left? Tyrod T, Jimmy G? I think the Niners will eventually cut him.

Isn't it crazy how much these guys are making? If you really stop to think about it...it just boggles the mind.

A few years late, but his experience would be tremendous in that WR room...

Damn, that was less than I thought it'd take...

J Landry, Allen Robinson, J Crowder Will Fuller, Juju S ...

Guys who can still help us in Free Agency land.

Saints need route runners more than anything. I wouldn't get so hung up on "speed" at WR.

Plenty of guys in the upcoming draft for that.

There are lots of free agent safeties out there still.

Just need some cap space.

:cough:

The fact Fuller is always hurt makes him a nice cheap target.

Marcus Williams is now a Baltimore Raven.

Per PFF 5y/70M

That’s gonna hurt. I know a lot of people gave him flak over the 2017 divisional game but there was plenty of blame to go around in that one. But the kid is one of the best safeties in the league and he got paid like it. Best of luck MW. Wonder if we go all in for the badger or try PJ at FS

Another cap casualty. We still have Peat tho...

That's sad. We just let a 25 year old stud safety that we drafted and developed walk for nothing. I can understand why you move on from Terron Armstead but this one definitely stinks.

Wouldn't it finally be nice to get ahead of these things for a change?

I think Marcus Williams really wanted to leave. Even if we had the money I think he'd probably dip. Our fanbase has ****ted on him since the Minnesota Miracle.

This! ^^^

He was never embraced fully. No attachment.

All I know is finding a FS with elite RANGE is hard to find.

Baltimore is a good place for Marcus. They consistently excel on defense.

Saints can’t keep em all.

At least it should mean a 3rd round compensatory pick next year. We may need it for our first pick if we make the Watson deal. ;)

We can't get ahead because year after year we're behind the 8-ball. He played ball and we couldn't pay him (or wouldn't). Wash, rinse, repeat.

Can't pay everybody a billion dollars... Oh wait, did we not pay Peat?

Still ... Welcome to the NFL!

With the draft we had in 2017 keeping all at those numbers would have been impossible for any team's cap.

What cap? You've told us time and again it doesn't matter. This is why it does little speedo. Now, go console your fragile ego little man, because yes, the cap does absolutely matter Mr Finance...

For all the talk of LSU being DBU, and they make a good argument, the WRs have had as big an impact in the NFL...
