Chris, look again, that was Pick 27, the sim sent me good offers to accumulate early (i.e. before P75) picks by moving back...

The point of my mock draft was for the Saints to have heavy emphasis on offensive line and yet still show steals, value avail at WR throughout the draft...

Major asked about a specific WRz; not sure who that veteran WRz opposite WRx Michael Thomas is (still may want to trade for Brandin Cooks), waiting to see what shakes out...

But adding a veteran No. 2 WR, you could potentially have Thomas, (Cooks/Player To be named), Montgomery, Harris, Callaway -that's pretty good...

I see what you’re saying JP.

You know, something that isn’t getting enough attention is what’s going to happen at the safety position. We’ve talked about losing Armstead and re-tooling the O-Line, but losing Marcus Williams could have a huge impact on our draft plan. Not to mention, Malcolm Jenkins has to be close to retiring.

It's early 3rd quarter however the game vs Bama looks a bit "too big" for Cincy.

Not a great showing for Alabama WR Jameson Williams either. He hasn’t even been lined up against CB Sauce Gardner very much.

I remember the announcers saying that the Cincy CB didn't follow WR's. They play whomever lines up across them.

Great performance today from Bama DT Phidarian Mathis.

WR Jameson Williams did nothing lined up outside against Gardner and Bryant.

Lol, it's football & against a top-tier opponent. Cincy's corners are no slouches.

Jameson was impactful today (7/62) in key moments. I'm pretty sure the Cincy D coordinator game planned for him all week. He'll be a game-changer on Sundays. I'd love to have him on my team.

Cincy’s boundary CB’s certainly are the real deal… that’s why I was a little disappointed to see Williams not get anything going against them. His production came from the slot.

That's why I took Jordan Battle, making the aged Malcolm Jenkins, his cap number, his declining coverage ability, all expendable...

But I believe we gotta find a way to keep the very underrated and very young Marcus Williams under contract; we've gotten spoiled to great free safety play...

I was at work and don't have the channel to work the college games but caught a bit on tbe YouTube streams before they got shut off. Cincy captains looked deflated on the walk to the coin toss. They looked like occasion was getting to them, stiff, slow etc

QB Matt Corral being carted to the locker room with a lower leg injury. Probably not anything too serious but you know… that’s the risk that comes with playing in these bowl games.

O line has to be addressed or whoever the qb. rb, wr. are want matter. Got to score points to win, can't do that unless the trenches are good.

MT won’t have me retracting anything no matter what he does next year. Fact is he acted selfishly and screwed his teammates, coaches, and fans THIS SEASON. The team likely would have 1-2 more wins if he had not have acted the way he did and would be solidly in the playoffs rather than needing help from the lambs. Dude is making top WR money so he should act
like a pro.

Just win Sunday and I'll take the winning season with a lower pick in the draft. Either way we still pick in the middle of the pack in each round after the talent has been taken by the bad teams who won fewer games than we did.

If we win Sunday I'm happy. If we lose and pick higher then I'll be happy about that instead of the win. It's a win/win for me. Who Dat! :bng:

Edit: I'd prefer the roasted falcon though.

Looks like it’ll be pick 17. Good spot to be.

Ok, pick #18 it is then.

There will be a stud available when we pick.

IIRC Cam Jordan was selected at #24 and Ramz 32 of the 1st rd.

Nuff said.

I've been feeling Nakobe Dean lately. If we aren't going to go WR in the first round, I'd be happy with one of the top QB prospects or Dean just as long as we address the problem.

NT John Ridgeway transferred and is a big reason why Arkansas flipped the script and not only became a bowl team, but beat Penn State...

Note: Watching this game for Treylon Burks who opted not to play (draft); so I've taken Burks and Penn St Dotson off my board as guys who could possibly quit...

Really love Alec Pierce in the slot for us or to take over the X to allow MT to go inside on plays...

He reminds me of WR Jamison Crowder, but with more athleticism...

Have read three or four scouting reports on Pierce and all say that he "catches everything"...

-Let Armstead go. Move Peat to LT. Throckmorton stays at LG. Potential and cheap. Draft a LT .
-Let Williams walk. He owns the two worst attempts at tackling I've seen in my life. Just not worth the money. PJ takes his spot. Cheaper and a better tackler. Find an UDFA to compete.
-Try to sign Harris to a cheap deal. Don't overpay. Lovethe skills. His size and decision making concerns me.
