Re: 2015 draft??
;Perryman is better no doubt, but I have seen Kendrick mocked as late as the third round.
I wouldn't take him in the first but mid 2nd or later he would be good value. I'm unsure on Thompson, not seen enough of him. Seems small as a olb,can he play the middle |

He could play RB, but if you're not drafting him for that it's a wasted pick IMO. |
Re: 2015 draft??
After senior bowl:
"Perryman, I think is a first-round inside linebacker if he runs well at the combine," NFL Media's Mike Mayock said. Kevin White improved his draft stock. Impressed people during practice and in the game. Wanted him as mid round steal. |

Re: 2015 draft??
If Perryman is a rated a mid-first rounder and we need a linebacker, why would we not make that selection?!?
Recent perspective, LB Luke Kuechly went No. 9, LB Brian Orakpo went No. 13... So I have no problem taken a three down, special player at linebacker... |

Denzel Perryman was injured during the Senior Bowl practice week and still had his stock rise with some speculation to first round, but his injury allowed Anthony the opportunity to shine... And shine he did as now Anthony is thought of as a three down linebacker and may be as high as a second rounder going into the combine... Source: Grady Jarrett, Stephone Anthony stealing show on Senior's South squad - Orange and White Story Now that the Saints have let it be known they're looking at Anthony, it may be the kiss of death for selecting him; and I'd love to take BOTH Perryman AND Anthony and totally rework, upgrade the LB interior for the Saints... |
Re: 2015 draft??
Stephone Anthony - side line to line speed. solid cover. good tackler. good getting through the wash. hidden behind a very good DL and played in the shadows of others. upside high ceiling with a high floor. many were waiting on the senior bowl to see if he really could step up. well he did and made some money. he is not the project people thought he was
solid ILB that if the combine and pro days go as people think he will sky rocket up the charts. round 3 looks good but i would not be surprised to see him off the board in the second if all goes well. |

If Perryman moves up to the back of the first round and Anthony moves into the second with both having good combine showings... Then I'd take Shaq in the first round, Anthony in the second and roll from there... Don't see Danny Shelton as a fit for us in a 3-4 which is the base I'd prefer us utilize and secure the personnel for same; really like to see us get some big space gobblers on the line and zone-blitz attack with 6' 2" to 6' 4" linebackers... |

What did you guys think of Oregon State's QB at the Senior Bowl? I didn't watch it.

he did not look at good at all really.

I watched Petty and he had some really bad throws. Missed wide open guys.

Am still processing the info... Just would rather have a more dynamic athlete like Shaq there - an OLB that would be a lazer pinching from the outside and could play middle linebacker on those 3rd and long plays covering the middle and taking pressure off the defensive backs there... |

I prefer McKinney and/or Anthony. I like your hope to totally revamp LB corps with multiple LB picks, even two ILBs possibly. |

Now, I'm cautiously optimistic about what I'm seeing of Anthony, who'd sure be there for after the first round... And I guess there's still questions whether McKinney is a two-down thumper or a three down linebacker... If he's a two-down guy like the ones we have now, no way I want to spend a first rounder on a guy who's limited on snaps... |
Re: 2015 draft??
No. 013 (R1, 13) LB Shaq Thompson, Washington; 6' 2", 231 lbs
No. 044 (R2, 12) LB Stephone Anthony, Clemson; 6' 2", 245 lbs No. 075 (R3, 11) OG John Miller, Louisville; 6' 3", 315 lbs No. 109 (R4, 13) DE Henry Anderson, Stanford; 6' 6", 285 lbs No. 140 (R5, 12) LB Jake Ryan, Michigan; 6' 3", 238 lbs No. 171 (R6, 11) OG Ben Beckwith, Mississippi St; 6' 4", 317 lbs No. 205 (R7, 13) RB Michael Dyer, Louisville ~ Auburn; 5' 9", 215 lbs Well, thinking Perryman isn't there in the second round, so I'd take the 1A option, Anthony, who's size at 6' 2" is a plus... Would I trade back in the first for Perryman? Depends, and it'd be only for a second as I'd want to mass in the first 75 picks... Anthony, Miller and Anderson move up a round as their values rise... Grab a kid in the fifth that's a FOOTBALL PLAYER with Great Instincts and at the least will be a great special teamer; but I think he could be better than that... |
Re: 2015 draft??
I like Eli Harold from VA in round 2.
We need a tall, long-armed quick player who can be an OLB/SS/DE like Cam Chancellor. |

ok were is the love for drew? ROT please. the first two picks have some really good players that can be playing right out of camp or by mid season. plus there are more than a few that can slide inside to guard in a heart beat.
