Re: 2016 NFL Draft Prospect Thread ...............
Butler would look good in a Saints uniform. I would easily have no problem at all with him. I still hope he's there in the 2nd.

Re: 2016 NFL Draft Prospect Thread ...............
Several of the early mocks are showing the Saints taking A'Shawn Robinson in the first round...
After watching some more games over the weekend, I prefer Jarran Reed because of his versatility... |

Re: 2016 NFL Draft Prospect Thread ...............
Okay, found some new names for y'all; Williams can bring the truck when he hits; don't know Adams makes it to us in the fourth, likely at the end of the third like someone else; If Treadwell is there, no way Payton passes on him, he Laquon runs a great 40 at the combine - Ravens or 49ers take him; Gotsis was injured and likely falls, but the guy reminds me alot of the Broncos DE Derek Wolfe; Tretola is Jahri 2.0, enough said; and Jairus Byrd can ride the bench by season's end if we get Darian Thompson who should be there when we pick in the second...

Re: 2016 NFL Draft Prospect Thread ...............
what has Lee the LB form Ohio St done to move up rankings? Just seems odd before the combine to see players move up and down

Re: 2016 NFL Draft Prospect Thread ...............
Lee is a 3 down type of WLB no way around it and a good one with a high floor and upside still to develop. But mid first round talent? I am not completely sold on that one. Oddly enough it is the lack off talent at a position that can drive players up the chart also. WLB is a questionable position this year. A lot of players are hype driven at WLB.
WLB get all the press and the glory. Lee is a very good WLB but playing with Washington and Bosa in front of him makes me wonder if it more the sum of the parts that made him so good. I credit Lee, he is a good player. But I would ponder the sum of the parts bit when making the pick. Plus he did kinda fade towards the end of the season. As did most of OSU after they were out of the running. So when drafting an OSU player this year I will question this part of their game. Other players were the sum of their parts is a consideration Kinda like Kevin Dodd DE Clemson and all the fan fare he is getting. another good player but he really did not take off till the return of D.J. Reader DT Clemson. When Reader got back on the field then Dodd starting to have a bigger impact on games. Or was it Reader that was really having the most impact of the two? Same goes for the DL of Penn st. Almost all of them are falling on the boards but one, Austin Johnson NT Penn State. As the play of the others are exposed the more Austin play becomes obvious. just some thing i always ponder |
