QB Jordan Love looked fantastic throwing last night. Very impressive performance.

I wouldn't read too much into Reagor's time at the combine.

Trust the tape. He's a burner on the field.

Oh no doubt... it’s just 40 time overreaction season. It says more of Jefferson who most thought was a mid to high 4.5 guy.

Re: 2020 NFL Draft: Saints Prospects

Although, I will say Reagor’s 7.31 three-cone drill time was terrible. We learned last season with DK Metcalf not to stress too much about a poor three-cone time, but when you look at Reagor’s subpar hands and how loaded of a WR class this is... I think Reagor falls to the second round.

Re: 2020 NFL Draft: Saints Prospects

From the few drills I've seen so far , JJefferson looked the most "polished".

Hands, blocking, inside, outside, contested catches ... if that display wasn't the total package, I don't know what is.

But again, his game tape sealed the deal for me in 2019. He's ready.

Not sure how many still follow or read up on Pro Football focus, but Jefferson ran over 95% of his routes out of the slot. I don't believe any other WR had a higher percentage.

I hope he's on the Saints "short list" of WR options at the upcoming draft.

And he's elusive.

4.65 40 ... nice time for a big guy.

Me too. Laid back, quiet demeanor and super intelligent. The lights won't be too big for him either.

Wasn't a lot of guessing on the chalkboard either. Very confident and commanding in his explanations to Steve in that short video clip.

Kurt Warner compared his skill set to Russell Wilson :bng:.

Keep an eye on WR Aaron Fuller as a Day 3 Lance Moore/Willie Snead-type draft pick...

What’s up with Laviska Shenault? I’m hearing he has some type of groin issue and that’s why he couldn’t fully workout yesterday. All I know is it was bizarre seeing him run the 40 looking all sloppy with a baggy shirt and dreads hanging down all over the place.

Don't see Delpit going in Round 1...

My quick take on Delpit.

Always seems to get nicked up & isn't the best at tackling. He has good range but dude likes to arm tackle (see UT game) too much for my taste.

He'll get trucked at the next level if he doesn't get "coached up".

I'll never confuse him with his former team mate Jamal Adams that's for sure.

Teams better do their due diligence here.

So basically you're saying we have that guy already on the roster...

Would love for the Saints to move back into the second round in a trade with Indy, Chicago or Miami, both of whom have two second round picks (MIA has ours)...

Nab WRF Jalen Reagor and either a CB Cameron Dantzler or Darnay Holmes or Amik Robertson or even TE Adam Trautman...

And with the show WR Denzel Mims is putting up, trending up, I wouldn't mind if we grabbed him early on Day 2...

We need an elite speedster at WRF who can burn on a simple route tree his first year, opening up the offense for @CantGuardMike and the other kids...

Jordan Love measurables ...

Vertical ... 35.5
40 ... 4.65
Hand size ... 10 4/8

I hope we draft a WR early but I also think 2020 is the time to draft a legit QB to take over when Brees exits left.

Are you sure the hand size wasn't 10 1/2?

Ask NFL.com or the Sporting news to change it.

That is where I captured/pasted the info.

2020 is a deep WR class.

There should be no reason why we can't find a 6'3, 4.5 40 guy in the 3rd round.

Exactly why I would go G in the 1st, WR can be had as deep as the 5th if things fall well. Trade Kamara for a high #2, pick up a top 3 down rb in the 2nd to go along with Murry then we could go after a good wr in the 3rd, I know Payton will do the opposite but it's wishful thinking.

That makes me uneasy though because if you wait to see what WR falls to you in the 3rd you might end up with a Tre’Quan Smith.

I think it would be a big mistake to trade Kamara.

Or his 3rd round draft classmate Michael Gallup ... balling.

We simply "missed" on Tre'.

I wanted G in the 1st but I’m starting to think that this FO goes G in free agency and picks a WR in the 1st round not only is this class deep but it would give Brees another option besides Thomas which is something this offense is severely lacking

I don’t think there really are any first round guards this year.

Just makes sense, his value would be high at this moment and could net us a high pick. I personally like Kamara but running between the T is not his strong suit. Brees will do the usual dink and dunk with Kamara there. I would rather see a power run game opening up play action. D's know what there getting when Kamaras on the field lining up behind Brees. Brees isn't a spring chicken anymore. If Brees was more mobile I wouldn't look at trading Kamara but he's not.

The thing is though, running between the tackles and a power run game isn’t Payton’s offense. Kamara is the embodiment of what Payton wants scheme-wise.

Wow RB Johnathan Taylor with the official 4.39 forty. Back to back 2k yard seasons at Wisconsin. Now that’s a workhorse with breakaway speed too.

Actually this class is very deep at G this year; particularly LG/RT swing types...
